जयपुर में प्रॉपर्टी डीलर ने नशे में चढ़ा दी गाड़ी, दो की मौत

राजस्थान की राजधानी जयपुर में बीती रात शराब के नशे में धुत एक प्रॉपर्टी डीलर ने फुटपाथ पर सो रहे 4 लोगों पर अपनी गाड़ी चढ़ा दी.जिससे दो लोगों की मौत हो गई. घटना गुरुवार रात जयपुर के गांधीनगर स्टेशन के बाहर की है जब वह गाड़ी बैक कर रहा था. आरोपी प्रॉपर्टी डीलर का नाम भारत भूषण मीणा है. घटना के वक़्त वहां मौजूद दूध सप्लाई करने वाले ट्रक के ड्राइवर और कुछ लोगों ने उसे पकड़ लिया. चश्मदीदों के मुताबिक भारत भूषण मीणा नशे में इतना चूर था कि गाड़ी से निकलते ही वो नीचे गिर गया। घायलों का अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है.

Rupee Collapses To New Record Low

The Indian rupee collapsed to a fresh record low of 71 against the US dollar for the first time ever by slipping 26 paise today, reported news agency PTI (Press Trust of India). The fall in Indian currency is due to the persistent demand for the US currency amid rising crude prices. Weakness in almost all other Asian peers also gave a boost to the dollar today. Indian rupee was trading at 70.93/94 per dollar and skidded to 71 per dollar in opening deals before recovering slightly on the back of dollar sales by state-run banks.

"Notes Ban Led To More Tax Collection, Economic Growth": Arun Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday said the demonetisation of Rs. 500/1,000 notes led to formalisation of economy, more tax collection and higher growth. His statement comes a day after RBI data revealed that almost all the scrapped notes were returned to banks. He said the Reserve Bank has twice released its reports stating that the demonetised notes Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 have been substantially deposited in the banks.

पेट्रोल-डीज़ल की क़ीमतों में आग लगी है. आज फिर दिल्ली में पेट्रोल 12 पैसे प्रति लीटर और डीजल 18 पैसे प्रति लीटर महंगा हुआ है. डीज़ल की क़ीमत अब तक के सबसे ऊंचे स्तर पर है. अगर दिल्ली की बात करें तो पिछले एक महीने में पेट्रोल 2.05 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीज़ल 2.18 रुपये प्रति लीटर महंगा हुआ है. इस साल में अब तक डीज़ल की क़ीमत में प्रति लीटर 10 रुपये से ज़्यादा की बढ़ोतरी हुई है. डॉलर के मुक़ाबले रुपये के धड़ाम होने और अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाज़ार में कच्चे तेल की क़ीमत बढ़ना, पेट्रोल-डीज़ल की क़ीमत में बढ़ोतरी की वजह बताई जा रही है.
