दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर पर कुश्ती संघ के अध्यक्ष बृजभूषण शरण सिंह पर एफआईआर दर्ज होने के बाद भी पहलवानों का धरना जारी है. उनका कहना है कि जब तक गिरफ्तारी नहीं हो जाती, धरना जारी रहेगा. इस बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देश पर दिल्ली पुलिस ने केस दर्ज कराने वाली सात महिला पहलवानों को सुरक्षा दे दी है. इन पहलवानों से संपर्क में दिल्ली पुलिस है और वो जल्द बयान भी दर्ज कर सकती हैं.

"Another Special Message": PM Speaks To UNESCO Chief In Mann Ki Baat@100

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday interacted with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay in the 100th episode of his monthly radio broadcast 'Mann Ki Baat'.

The Director-General of UNESCO not only wished the countrymen for the wonderful journey of the 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' but also asked questions on education and cultural preservation in India.

"I have received another special message from Audrey Azoulay, DG, UNESCO regarding 'Mann Ki Baat'. She has wished all the countrymen for this wonderful journey of 100th episode," PM Modi said during his 100th Mann Ki Baat address.

Audrey Azoulay is a French civil servant and politician who has been serving as the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) since 2017, becoming the second female leader of the organization.

Speaking to PM Modi in his radio broadcast today, the UNESCO Chief said, "Dear Prime Minister, on behalf of UNESCO, I thank you for this opportunity to be part of the hundredth episode of the Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast. UNESCO and India have a long common history. We have very strong partnerships together in all areas of our mandate education, science, culture and information."

She also asked various questions to PM Modi on education and cultural preservation amid India's ongoing G20 Presidency.
"UNESCO is working with its member states to ensure that everyone in the world has access to quality education by2030, with the largest population in the world. Could you please explain the Indian way to achieve this objective? UNESCO also works to support culture and protect heritage," she said.

PM Modi thanked the UNESCO Chief for taking part in the 100th episode of the Radio broadcast and said that he is happy that she raised important issues.

He further said that Mann Ki Baat has been a catalyst in igniting numerous mass movements. "Be it NEP or the option of studying in regional languages, many initiatives such as Gunotsav and Shala Praveshotsav were highlighted in MannKiBaat," the Prime Minister said.

"Maan Ki Baat is a programme that allows every citizen to inspire others; this positivity will propel our nation in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav."

"Be it Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, love towards Khadi, nature-related concerns, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav or that of Amrit Sarovar, whatever issue Mann Ki Baat got associated with, it has ignited a people's movement," PM Modi added.

Ahead of the historic 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' which aired on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to people to join him live at 11:00 am and said that the journey of his radio monthly programme in which he addresses the common people has been "truly special".

The Prime Minister said that during the journey, the "collective spirit" of the people of the country was celebrated.

Earlier today, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sunday joined the Indian community in New Jersey to listen to the 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat'.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh too interacted with the Indian community in London before the broadcast of PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat. He said that PM Modi has raised the esteem of the Indian community abroad, according to the statement released by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Minister said, the world is looking up to the Indian community with great hope and expectation and it is high time that they also rise to the occasion and contribute to the well-being of the entire humankind in the true spirit of the theme of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' as given by PM Modi during India's G20 presidency.

PM Modi's monthly radio programme completed its 100th episode today which aired at 11 am and broadcast live across the country and in various parts of the world including the United Nations Headquarters.

Mann Ki Baat is broadcast on the last Sunday of every month.
The programme, which began on October 3, 2014, has inspired community action and grown to be an essential tenet of the government's citizen outreach programme, which targets a variety of social groups including women, youth, and farmers.

A study was conducted regarding the impact of Mann Ki Baat on people's lives. The study showed that over 100 crore people have connected to Mann Ki Baat at least once, it speaks directly to people, celebrates grassroots-level changemakers and achievements of people and has influenced people towards positive actions.

Apart from 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, Mann Ki Baat is broadcast in 11 foreign languages including French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari and Swahili.

Mann Ki Baat is being broadcast by more than 500 All India Radio broadcast centres.

Preity Zinta Says She Once Made 120 Paranthas For PBKS. Harbhajan Reacts

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a melting pot of top cricket talents from around the world. It is one cricket competition, where all top cricketers want to be part of. It also gives domestic cricketers the opportunity to learn from the best and share the same dressing room with the legends. Funny incidents also emerge from the league, some involving the team owners too. Sharing one such instance, Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta said that she once had to make 120 aloo paranthas for her team during the 2009 IPL in South Africa, when the team was called Kings XI Punjab.

"Who would have thought Preity Zinta would make aloo parathas for her team? I think they have stopped eating aloo parantha after that," the anchor asked Preity on Star Sports. Harbhajan Singh, who was also standing there, started laughing.

"First time I realised, how much do the boys eat. We were in South Africa, and they served not a good all parantha. Then I told them, 'I will teach you to make all paratha'. Seeing that, the boys asked if I can make all paranthas for them. I told them that, will make aloo paranthas if they win the next match. They won it. Then I made 120 aloo parathas. After that I have stopped making aloo paranthas," Preity replied.

On hearing that, Harbhajan Singh: "Irfan alone would have ate 20." 

Punjab Kings on Friday lost its IPL 2023 game against Lucknow Super Giants. Punjab Kings batting coach Wasim Jaffer has backed his team's bowlers to make a strong comeback after the heavy loss against Lucknow Super Giants, adding that it "was one of those days when everything clicked for the opposition." The likes of Marcus Stoinis, Kyle Mayers, Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran pummelled the Punjab bowlers into submission as LSG piled up 257 for 5 -- second highest total in IPL history--  on Friday.

"Today was one of those days when everything clicked for the opposition and we were a bit clueless. Our bowlers will come back strong," Jaffer said after his team's 56-run loss.

"Our bowling couldn't perform. They started off well in powerplay and just took off, they didn't stop, every one played... Ayush Badoni, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran. When someone plays like this, it's very difficult, they didn't lose momentum after the powerplay. As I said, It was an off day for our bowling." Punjab's leading pacers Kagiso Rabada (2/52), Arshdeep Singh (1/54) and Sam Curran (1/38) conceded 144 runs between them across 11 overs.

The former India batter feels there is no need to press the panic button just yet. He, however, admitted that the bowlers could have approached the situation differently.

"It's not a serious concern. Before this our bowling has defended in serious conditions against Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. The bowling unit has performed better. Today was an off day.

"Maybe we could have used a Plan B, like using the slower balls a lot more and using the longer boundary consistently," Jaffer said.

On PT Usha's "Tarnishing Image" Dig At Wrestlers, WC-Winning Star's Retort

Top Indian grapplers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar in the national capital against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over allegations of sexual harassment. The likes of Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, and many other wrestlers have been sleeping on the streets, urging authorities to file an FIR against Brij Bhushan, who has denied the allegations on multiple occasions. Awaiting action to be taken, Vinesh had questioned the silence of the country's top cricketers.

"The entire country worships cricket but not even a single cricketer has spoken up. We aren't saying that you speak in our favour, but at least put up a neutral message and say there should be justice for whichever party. This is what pains me... Be it cricketers, badminton players, athletics, boxing," Vinesh told The Indian Express.

While several sportspersons have expressed solidarity after Vinesh took a dig at the cricketers, former India head coach Madan Lal slammed Indian Olympic Association (IOA) chief PT Usha for not standing by the wrestlers.

"Problem with our sports men's and women's are they never stand by their own players. PT Usha's comments are not best for players' unity," Lal tweeted.

The veteran wicket-keeper batter was pulling off some heroic run-chases for his team in the IPL last season. But, this season's story has been completely different for him.

After the match, RCB's stand-in skipper didn't mince his words while criticizing his team for the performance against the Knight Riders.

Kohli said: "To be honest we handed them the game. We did deserve to lose. We handed them a victory. We were certainly not up to standard. If you look at the game, we didn't capitalize our chances. We dropped a few chances which cost us 25-30 runs. We set up ourselves really well. We ended up hitting the fielder to balls that weren't wicket-taking. It is what's on the scoreboard and how to get them.

"Even while chasing, despite losing wickets we were one partnership away from being in the game. We needed one partnership to get us home. We need to be switched on and not give away soft plays. We have won one and lost one on the road. It is not something that is making us nervous. We need to win some away games to be in good shape for the later stages of the tournament," he said.

Yash Dayal has not featured for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 since conceding 31 runs in the final over against Kolkata Knight Riders. The young fast bowler was taken to the cleaners by Rinku Singh who slammed five sixes in the final five balls of the match to clinch the match for his team. The loss was quite unsettling for the youngster and a lot of questions have been asked about his absence from the side since that game. Following GT's win over Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, skipper Hardik Pandya provided a crucial update about Dayal and his availability.

“I can't confirm that (on his chances of playing again this season). He fell ill and lost 7-8 kilos after that match. There was a spread of viral infection during that period and also due to the pressure he had faced, his condition is presently not good enough to take the field. Someone's loss is someone's gain at the end of the day. It is going to take a long time before we see him on the field,” he said.

The situation at Dayal's house also suffered following the match against KKR.

"It was a nightmare yesterday," recollected his father Chandrapal Dayal in an interaction with PTI.

His nutritionist daughter Shuchi, who takes care of his younger brother's dietary needs, took care of her mother. But fathers normally have to be strong and so is Chandrapal, who had once played Vizzy Trophy for North Zone Universities, back in the day.

"These are the moments sport is made up of. Even in life you come across failures, it's important to stand up stronger," Chandrapal said.

Airbnb Property Owner Faces Rs 1.28 Lakh Bill After Guests Leave Gas On

An Airbnb owner has been left with a bill of $1,570 (Rs 1.28 lakh) after the couple who stayed there left taps running and gas on. According to a report in Independent, the guests did this as an act of revenge when they were unable to cancel their booking. The couple from China had travelled to South Korea and stayed in the property for 25 days to punish the host. The act resulted in enormous utilities bill for the host, identified as Mr Lee by the outlet.

The problem arose after the couple booked the villa for staying in Seoul during the trip. But the premises is not located in the heart of the city, but its suburb. By the time the couple realised this, they had already paid the entire amount in full.

Mr Lee claims the couple did not speak to him or Airbnb and did everything on their own. They first contacted the host to ask if there is any surveillance cameras in the property. When Mr Lee said there weren't, they turned on as many lights, taps, electrical appliances and gas taps as they could, as per the Independent report.

The host further said that the couple did not stay at the property and instead travelled across South Korea. They returned for just five times in 25 days, and spent just five minutes each time, said Mr Lee.

When the couple checked out, the gas company contacted Mr Lee and told him about a significant increase in usage. He feared it was a leak.

When Mr Lee visited the villa, he found the windows open and the gas on. He received a $116 (Rs 9,506) water and electricity bill, a $730 (Rs 59,824) gas bill and $728 (Rs 59,660) for "miscellaneous expenses".

He said the couple used more than 120,000 litres of water during their stay.

In the end, however Virat Kohli fails to keep up with his wife and puts his foot down as Anushka breaks into hysterical laughter.

The actress captioned the video after her famous movie song from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and we cannot agree more. The caption read, "Dance pe chance skills."

Box Office: Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Witnesses Growth At Rs 25.75 Crore

Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan witnessed "remarkable growth" on the second day at the box office. The movie on Saturday earned Rs 25.75 crore, tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Kisi Ka Bhai Kis Ki Jaan's two days earring now stands at Rs 4.56 crore. On the first day, the movie earned only Rs 15.81 crore. "#SalmanKhan's superstardom is on display as #KisiKaBhaiKisiKiJaan witnesses remarkable growth on Day 2 [#Eid]... Taran Adarsh added, "The lukewarm biz at metros on Day 1 was worrisome, but the jump on Day 2 must've come as a big relief for its investors... However, it's the mass belt that has gone on an overdrive on Day 2, which means that the film should enjoy strong innings in those sectors in days to come. #KBKJ growth / decline... Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji, also stars Venkatesh, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav, Siddharth Nigam, Bhumika Chawla, Jassie Gill and Palak Tiwari. 

Film critic Saibal Chatterjee in his review for NDTV gave 1 star out of 5 and wrote, "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a travesty of gigantic proportions no matter what geography you belong to, what history you believe in and what you think cinema should be. A bad film is a bad film. KKBKKJ is beyond bad."

Marathon Runner Poops In Stranger's Yard, Internet Says "Stinky Runner!"

A grainy footage has surfaced on the internet which shows an unidentified Boston marathon runner apparently pooping on a stranger's lawn. The incident was captured on a doorbell camera dated April 17.

The video shows the marathon runner squatting down in the corner of someone's front lawn in order to relieve themselves during the 26.2-mile race. However, the runner was interrupted by a man who walked into the yard and appeared to have an awkward exchange with the marathon runner.

The marathon runner quickly stands up, pulls up the shorts and rejoins the race.

According to New York Post, more than 30,000 marathoners partook in the annual run from Hopkinton, Mass. to downtown Boston.

The viral video was posted on Twitter and the caption of the video read, "Boston marathon runner pooped in someone's yard today."

The video triggered an array of reactions on social media. Netizens even called the runner a "stinky runner." 

A user commented, "Shit Happens."

Another user commented, "lmao I didn't realize just because you're running in a marathon that gives you the right to shit on random people's lawns."

The third user wrote, "When you gotta job to do, you gotta do it well."

"That sucks but all that nerves and caffeine and stuff they probably take, he's human after all lol," the fourth commented.

A fifth user asked, "Did runner wipe his ass afterwards and sanitize hands?"
