19-Year-Old Dies Of Cardiac Arrest While Playing Garba In Gujarat's Jamnagar
A 19-year-old in Gujarat died of suspected cardiac arrest on Monday while playing garba, a folk-dance form. The victim, identified as Vinit Mehulbhai Kunvariya, was rushed to a hospital nearby but was declared dead on arrival. The incident took place in Jamnagar's Patel Park neighbourhood.
The teenager was a dance enthusiast. He was practising at a garba class located in the Patel Park area in preparation for the upcoming Navratri festival when he unexpectedly collapsed to the ground after completing the first round. He was initially taken to a neighbouring private hospital and then transferred to GG Hospital, where he was declared dead upon admission, Times of India reported.
Speaking to the media, a member of Mr Kunvariya's family said that he was practising at the 'Step & Style Dandiya Academy' in Jamnagar when he suddenly collapsed around 10:30pm on Monday. He added that the 19-year-old did not have any underlying illness and was completely fine.
Notably, common reasons for heart issues in the young include a family history of heart disease, coexisting medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, lifestyle problems, obesity, stress, and lack of exercise.
Meanwhile, Mr Kunvariya's death comes at a time when several similar cases of young people suddenly collapsing and, in some cases, dying have emerged on social media. Such incidents have left medical experts concerned too.
Earlier this month, a young man collapsed in a gym while running on a treadmill. The incident took place in Ghaziabad's Saraswati Vihar. The victim, Siddharth Kumar Singh, experienced a sudden and fatal heart attack during his exercise routine.

Joe Biden's Dog Bites Secret Service Agent, 11th Incident In A year
US President Joe Biden's dog Commander bit a Secret Service agent on Monday, the 11th such incident in a year, according to NBC News. The two-year-old purebred German Shepherd bit a female officer of the Uniformed Division and she was treated by the White House medical office, the outlet further said. Commander has been involved in nearly a dozen biting incident, which was disclosed in July this year by conservative group Judicial Watch. The group obtained the record through a lawsuit filed under Freedom of Information.
The latest incident took place last week, which the White House press secretary blamed on the stress of living at the US President's official residence.
"As we've noted before, the White House can be a stressful environment for family pets, and the First Family continues to work on ways to help Commander handle the often unpredictable nature of the White House grounds," the outlet quoted Elizabeth Alexander, the spokesperson, as saying on Tuesday.
"The President and First Lady are incredibly grateful to the Secret Service and Executive Residence staff for all they do to keep them, their family, and the country safe," she added.
Commander, who first arrived at the White House as a puppy in 2021, has undergone several rounds of training in the wake of these incidents.
In one of the incidents, First Lady Jill Biden "couldn't regain control" of the young dog as he charged a Secret Service staff member, CNN had said in a report a few months ago.
The Bidens also had another dog named Major, who behaved aggressively. The family eventually sent the dog, also a German Shepherd, to live with friends on Delaware.
Mr Biden had attributed Major's unpresidential behaviour to the way he gets surprised by Secret Service agents and others appearing around every corner in the busy White House complex.
The Bidens also have a cat - a short-haired tabby named Willow.

US Chess Champ Hans Niemann Denies Using Vibrating Sex Toys To Cheat
American chess prodigy Hans Niemann has denied using a vibrating sex toy to cheat during a chess match worth $500,000 last year, reported BBC. Last year, the chess champ defeated Mr. Carlsen at the Sinquefield Cup, an annual match-up held in St. Louis, Missouri.
The 32-year-old Carlsen, a five-time world champion, promptly withdrew from the tournament, accusing his opponent of cheating.
The International Chess Federation (FIDE) opened an investigation last September into the affair, described by many as one of the biggest scandals in the history of chess.
Last month, the pair buried the chess hatchet and settled a $100 million lawsuit.
In a recent interview, Mr Niemann spoke to Piers Morgan about the scrutiny he has faced since being accused of cheating. He said, "It is very disheartening to be accused of cheating after that victory," he said.
"These things happen and I managed to learn a lot during that time and it really has taught me a lot of very important lessons about life and chess."
When Mr Morgan asked about the allegation that he used anal beads to cheat, he replied, "Well, your curiosity is a bit concerning, you know, maybe you're personally interested. But I can tell you, no. Categorically, no, of course not."
Mr Niemann has admitted to cheating on Chess.com when he was between 12 and 16 years old but denies having continued, AFP reported.
In June, a US federal judge dismissed a lawsuit for $100 million in damages filed by Niemann over the row.
Last month, Chess.com said it stood by its report on Mr Niemann, "including that we found no determinative evidence that he has cheated in any in-person games".

Bengaluru Techie Runs Into Sundar Pichai On San Francisco Street. See Post
Imagine walking on the streets of San Francisco and suddenly bumping into Google CEO Sundar Pichai. This is exactly what happened with a Bengaluru-based techie recently, whose social media post about the same has gone viral online. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sid Puri, Head of Growth for Retool in India, revealed that he was walking down a street when he came across Mr Pichai and managed to get a picture with him. Mr Puri shared the image on LinkedIn and X.
The picture showed the Google chief dressed casually in blue jeans, a jacket and black sunglasses. He does not appear to have any security around him. However, Mr Puri, in the comments section of his post, confirmed that Mr Pichai was walking with a security guard who clicked their photo.
"Go to SF they said, no one prepared me to just run into Sundar Pichai on the street," Mr Puri wrote while sharing the pic on the microblogging platform.

On LinkedIn, Mr Puri revealed that the picture was taken last week, shortly after he landed in San Francisco, US.
The Bengaluru techie shared the post on Monday and since then it has accumulated more than 577,000 views and nearly 4,000 likes on X. In the comments section, while some users asked questions about the encounter, others simply wanted to know what phone Mr Pichai was using.
"Wow he walks without any security??? I am a little happy because he is so simple down to earth, and a little scared for his security at the same time," wrote one user. "Was he using Pixel 8?" jokingly asked another.

Another added, "Unreal experiences," while one user hilariously said, "Haha, next time someone says 'go to SF,' I'll make sure to prep my elevator pitch just in case I bump into a tech titan!"
Sundar Pichai is the India-born CEO of Google and its parent company Alphabet. He was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu in 1972 and moved away in 1989 to attend IIT Kharagpur to study metallurgical engineering.

Box Office Report: Jawan Set For A New Record - Fastest Rs 500 Crore
Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan will break yet another record with today's box office collection, reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh. At the end of Day 18, Jawan will make Bollywood's fastest Rs 500 crore several days earlier than Gadar 2 and Pathaan. As of yesterday, Day 17, Jawan had made Rs 492 crore nett at the domestic box office with Saturday's earnings adding up to Rs 11.50 crore. Jawan will be Shah Rukh Khan's second film to cross Rs 500 crore after Pathaan, joining this year's elite 500 crore club of Pathaan and Gadar 2.
"500 not out. Jawan will cruise past Rs 500 cr mark today (third Sunday). SRK's second film to cross Rs 500 cr in 2023, after Pathaan. Third Hindi film to cross Rs 500 cr in 2023, after Pathaan and Gadar 2. (Week 3) Friday 7.10 cr, Saturday 11.50 cr. Total: Rs 492.04 cr. Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan and Jawan's entire cast are basking in the success of the film and there are no two ways to say that. However, a few reports making rounds on the Internet indicated a rift between Nayanthara and director Atlee. Days after the reports, SRK on Friday, during his Ask Me Anything sessions, opened up about Nayathara's character in the film. A fan said, “I loved Azad's bond with Suji …the single mom storyline was so subtly done and really refreshing. Thank you for representing women from all walks of life. Love you, Shah Rukh Khan.” Responding to this, the actor wrote, “I also felt that the story of Narmada as a single mom was amazing. Unfortunately in the scheme of things couldn't find more screen time but it was also wonderful.”

Apart from SRK and Nayanthara, Jawan also features Vijay Sethupathi, Sanjay Dutt, and Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance). It was released on September 7.
Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. The film marks the first collaboration between the director and SRK. Dunki is slated for a Christmas release.

Watch: Jaya Bachchan's Hilarious Exchange With Jagdeep Dhankar
Samajwadi Party leader Jaya Bachchan yesterday shared a light moment with Rajya Sabha Speaker Jagdeep Dhankar during the discussion over the Women's Quota Bill.
While speaking on the bill, Ms Bachchan quipped, "Sir, aapki kursi bahut mazedaar hai (your chair is very intresting)."
"Now, I know why you keep coming back and sitting here so long," she said. In this seven-star hotel, if there's anything that's good, that's your chair," she added.
Jaya Bachchan also thanked Mr Dhankar for giving an opportunity to some women MPs to chair the proceedings as the House discussed the historic bill.
Besides the current panel of vice-chairpersons, about 13 women MPs set along with Mr Dhankar to oversee the proceedings yesterday.
"The precedent should continue. This shouldn't be cosmetic, otherwise the women of this House will label you a plastic surgeon," she said
"I know your fire power," Mr Dhankar responded.
The historic bill cleared Rajya Sabha yesterday, scripting history after almost three decades of roadblocks.
Once implemented, the number of women members in the Lok Sabha will increase from the current 82 to 181. Besides, 33 percent seats will be reserved for women in the state assemblies also.
The bill had cleared the Lok Sabha on Wednesday with the support of 454 MPs. Only Two MPs voted against it.

Delhi High Court Rules Against Misuse Of Anil Kapoor's Name, Image, Voice
Delhi High Court on Wednesday restrained the misuse of the name, image, voice and other attributes of persona, including the "jhakaas" catchphrase, of actor Anil Kapoor for commercial gain. Justice Prathiba M Singh passed the ex-parte interim order against several websites and platforms on a lawsuit by the actor, alleging unauthorised exploitation of his personality and celebrity rights for commercial use.
Advocate Pravin Anand, appearing for Kapoor, said several websites and platforms have been misusing the personality rights of the plaintiff through various activities.
Anil Kapoor's counsel pointed to the unauthorised sale of merchandise, collection of fees by using his photograph as a motivational speaker, morphing his image in a derogatory manner, and selling pictures with forged autographs and the "jhakaas" catchphrase, among others.
The lawsuit sought to protect Kapoor's personality rights with respect to his name, voice, image, likeness, manner of speaking and gestures, among others.
Justice Singh observed that while there can be no doubt that free speech is protected, the same would be illegal when it "crosses the line" and results in tarnishing and jeopardising individual personality rights.
"Using the plaintiff's name, voice, dialogue, image in illegal manner, that too for commercial purposes, cannot be permitted. Court cannot turn a blind eye to such misuse of personality," Justice Singh said.
"Defendants 1 to 16 are restrained from using ... in any manner the plaintiff Anil Kapoor's name, likeness, voice or any other attributes of his personality ... for monetary gain or otherwise," the court ordered.
It also restrained other unknown persons from disseminating the offending links. The court directed the authorities concerned to block the offending platforms.
The court said "fame for a person comes with disadvantages" and "this case shows that reputation and fame can transcend into damage".
Such misuse can damage a celebrity's right to endorsement, it added.

Women Rush To Enter Moving Mumbai Local, Video Sparks Debate Online
Thousands of people take the famous Mumbai locals for commuting to various places. The local trains are the lifeline of the city and it is impossible to imagine Mumbai without its trains. Now, a video which captures a regular scenario at the local has gone viral on the internet. The clip which was posted on X, formerly Twitter by user "The Skin Doctor" shows a moving local train which was about to stop at a station. However, before it could stop, women started entering the train to save themselves a seat.
The video puts a spotlight on how normal it is for Mumbaikars to pull off such dangerous stunts. The clip has gone viral with over 89,000 views on X and has the song 'Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan' playing in the background.
"You'll find this sad, scary, substandard living. But the affluent, wokes living comfortably in South Bombay glamorise this as the 'spirit of Mumbai', a 'jhunjhuna' given to the common Mumbaikars so that they feel better about their misery and don't ask for better infrastructure," he wrote.

The video sparked a debate online. While a section of users said that people had no choice but to rush onto the train so that they don't have to stand and jostle in the crowd for the long journey back home, the other section pointed out that safety should be prioritised.
"All seats on any train are occupied by the time it stops at the station. After a long day at the office, it's difficult to commute for 2.5 hours standing on a crowded train. Don't forget 75 per cent of these women go from work to home to work again, a user commented.
Another user wrote, "Many women use this travel time to cut vegetables in the train, to save time. It's easy to pass judgements, you need to experience it to empathise with these women. Life is not easy, especially for the middle class in Mumbai."
Commenting on the video, a user wrote, "Bollywood glamorised the Bombay dream which led to massive migration after the 70s and it has ended like this for millions."
"Mumbai never got its due .. No proper infrastructure .. & we get to listen to that sick to the brim line - Mumbai Spirit," another user wrote.
"That's what you get when you try your level best to put obstacles in development projects in the name of nature and all," the third user commented.
"They have accepted misery as a challenge to Struggle," the fourth user wrote.

Missed UFO Hearing In Mexico? Here's A Better Look At The Alien Bodies
For Jaime Maussan, a Mexican journalist and longtime UFO enthusiast, they are one of the most important discoveries in the history of humankind. But for many scientists these two tiny mummified bodies with elongated heads and three fingers on each hand, images of which were beamed around the world this week when they were presented to Mexico's Congress, are an already-debunked - perhaps criminal - stunt.
At Maussan's office, in the Mexico City business district of Santa Fe, staff members carefully carry the two closed boxes with glass lids containing the bodies into a green-screened studio, where Reuters had exclusive access on Friday.
Everyone huddles around to get a better look.
Alien bodies share characteristics with humans
The bodies appear ancient and share characteristics with humans: two eyes, a mouth, two arms, two legs. Maussan claims they were found around 2017 in Peru, near the pre-Columbian Nazca Lines.
He says he can prove they are unlike anything known on Earth. On social media and in the hearing, he shared scientific analysis and study results he argues proves the bodies are about 1,000 years old and not related to any known Earthly species.
One of them, described by Maussan as a female, was discovered to have eggs inside, he said.
"It is the most important thing that has happened to humanity," Maussan, 70, said of his crusade to bring awareness to the findings, sitting in his office that is heavily decorated with colorful alien-themed artwork and paraphernalia.
"I believe that this phenomenon is the only one that gives us the opportunity to unite," he added.
Elsa Tomasto-Cagigao, a respected Peruvian bio-anthropologist, is frustrated such claims are still being given publicity, citing similar alleged finds that were found to be frauds.
"What we said before still stands, they are presenting the same rehash as always and if there are people that keep believing that, what can we do?," she said by phone. "It is so crass and so simple that there is nothing more to add."
Previous such finds have been dismissed by the scientific community as mutilated mummies of pre-Hispanic children, sometimes combined with bits of animal parts.
NASA wants more information on '1,000-Year-Old alien bodies'
David Spergel, former head of Princeton University's astrophysics department and chair of a NASA report into unidentified anomalous phenomena, said on Thursday that such samples should be made available for testing by the world's scientific community.
Maussan shared on social media and in his presentation the results of DNA and carbon dating tests that he said he commissioned on "the beings."
A Mexican scientist, at the request of Reuters, reviewed the results and concluded they indicated normal life on Earth.
Maussan told Reuters on Friday that the test results were not directly related to the two bodies that he showed Congress this week, however. In fact, he said, they were conducted on an entirely different body, known as Victoria, that remains in Peru.
"They were found in the same place. They have the same physical appearance, they are the same," Maussan said of Victoria and the two bodies he presented in Mexico. Testing was not done on those two bodies in order to avoid damaging them, he said.
Maussan is no stranger to controversy. He has made claims about other remains in the past that have been widely criticized. He participated in a 2017 TV documentary about other remains found near the Nazca Lines, which experts like Tomasto-Cagigao and paleontologist Rodolfo Salas-Gismondi have said appeared to feature doctored mummies.
Now, he has angered Peruvian officials.
Peruvian Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga has questioned how the specimens, which she said were pre-Hispanic objects, left Peru and says a criminal complaint has been filed.
"I'm not worried. I have done absolutely nothing illegal," Maussan said.
How the bodies arrived in Mexico is a question he says he cannot answer. Borrowed by Maussan for the hearing, they are in the possession of a Mexican man, who was in Maussan's office on Friday and who declined to be identified.
Alien bodies named Clara and Mauricio
When asked how the bodies - whom he called Clara and Mauricio - came to be in his possession, the man replied only that he would reveal all "at the appropriate time."
Jose de Jesus Zalce Benitez, Director of the Health Sciences Research Institute of the Secretary of the Navy, participated in the congressional hearing, bolstering Maussan's claims. Now joining him at his office, he calmly explained his interpretation of the science.
"Based on the DNA tests, which were compared with more than one million species ... they are not related to what is known or described up to this moment by science or by human knowledge," he said.
Julieta Fierro, the scientist at Mexico's National Autonomous University's (UNAM) Institute of Astronomy who reviewed Maussan's test results for Reuters, sees far less mystery in the data.
She said that the presence of carbon-14 in studies done by UNAM proves that the samples were related to brain and skin tissues from different mummies who died at different times.
The proportion of the radioactive carbon-14 isotope that is absorbed by living organisms into their tissue decays over time, which allows scientists to determine the approximate year of death of the specimen.
On other planets, the amount of carbon-14 in their atmospheres would not necessarily be the same as on Earth, she said.
All in all, the results "do not show anything mysterious that could indicate life compounds that do not exist on Earth," Fierro said.

"It's Not Easy To...": India Coach On Decision To Drop Mohammed Shami
India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey on Thursday said the return of Jasprit Bumrah has strengthened their pace unit and it is pleasing to have four fully-fit fast bowlers going into next month's World Cup. During the recent tour to Ireland, Bumrah wore India colours after a long injury layoff, and impressed with his intensity during the ongoing Asia Cup as well. "We have been following Bumrah's progress from the NCA, and we are very happy with the report that we have got.
"Now, we have four quality bowlers, and it is always great to have those options. The problem of plenty is always good," Mhambrey said ahead of India's final Super 4 match against Bangladesh on Friday.
However, India's first-choice pace attack is now centred around Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya, forcing the management to bench Mohammed Shami.
"It's not very easy to drop someone like Shami. The experience that he has and the performance that he has done for the country is phenomenal. It's never easy to have that kind of a conversation (dropping a player)," he said.
Mhambrey said while it was a difficult choice, the player concerned has been conveyed clearly about the team decision.
"But we are clear in the way we have gone about the conversation with the players and they have shown confidence in us.
"Players know any decision that we take and they know that it is for the benefit of the team," said Mhambrey.
The former India pacer was also delighted to see the strides Pandya has taken as a bowler in recent times.
"I am very happy with the way Hardik has shaped up, something that we have worked on for a long time. We have been managing his workload, making sure that he is fit and able to achieve what we expect out of him.
"Once he hits 140 kmph he is a different bowler. From the team perspective it's a wicket-taking option that we have," added Mhambrey.
Mhambrey also said the Indian team has undertaken the process of developing the bowling skills of some batsmen, so that they have more options to choose from when needed.
Tilak Varma features prominently in that scheme.
"“I have been working with Tilak since his U-19 days. We were in South Africa and we realised he has bowling skills. We are working on it consistently.
"If the captain gets confidence that he can bowl one over and deliver, this one over can turn into two overs. But it depends on circumstances where we need that extra bowler," he said.

Viral Video: Fans Indulge In Ugly Spat, Fist-Fight In Asia Cup Game
Minutes after India's 41-run win over Sri Lanka in an Asia Cup Super 4 clash, a huge brawl broke out between fans in the stands of Colombo's R Premadasa Stadium. In the video, a Sri Lankan can be seen launching a fist attack on another spectator, who retaliated with a few jabs of his own. Amid all the chaos, a lady police officer is seen having a conversation with a small group of fans. It is not clear as to what was the reason behind the fist-fight between the two fans, but looking at the empty stand, it seemed that the incident took place after the match. The two had to be separated by the other specatators present at the scene.

Kuldeep Yadav starred as India overcame a brilliant all-round effort from Sri Lanka's Dunith Wellalage to win a closely-fought match.
Kuldeep took four wickets including the final two as India defended 213, bowling out Sri Lanka for 172 to silence a large home crowd at Colombo's R. Premadasa Stadium.
The win allowed India to book in Sunday's final at the same venue.
India recorded their second straight Super Four win in the Asia Cup, and ended Sri Lanka's 13-match winning streak in ODIs.
Wellalage, who claimed his maiden ODI five-wicket haul, remained unbeaten on 42 when he ran out of partners as left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep wrapped up the opposition tail in 41.3 overs.
"Kuldeep is a great bowler, I tried to play my normal game with a positive mindset," said Wellalage, who was named man of the match despite being on the losing team.
"I want to thank my team-mates and my coaching staff -- they gave me great support."
India skipper Rohit Sharma praised Kuldeep, who also took five wickets in his team's previous win over Pakistan, for his rhythm and consistency.
"For the past year or so, bowling really, really well. He has done a lot of hard work on his rhythm," said Rohit.
"He went back to the drawing board and worked on it. The ball is coming out nicely and you can see the results in the last 10 ODIs."

Housekeeping Staff Caught Dumping Trash Onto Tracks, Railways Responds
Many passengers routinely take to social media to complain about the bland food, dirty bathrooms, and erratic schedules on Indian trains. In one such instance, a passenger took to X, formerly, Twitter to share a video of a railway housekeeping staff dumping trash onto the railway track of a moving train.
Sharing the video, the user named Saurabh wrote, ''Swach Bharat Abhiyan ft Indian Railways!! The regular scene in almost 99% of the trains running in IR, Not sure about protocols but this is the failure of the system, Thousands of tonnes of waste are dumped daily on tracks, Who should be held accountable for this?''
He also claimed that this practice is carried in every other train in India, and tagged Ministry of Railway and Railway Seva.
Watch the video here:

In the video, the railway employee is seen gathering waste such as plastic bottles, and food wrappers in one corner with a wiper. However, instead of dumping the garbage into a waste bag, he throws it out of the moving train, spilling everything on the tracks.
Central Railway replied to his post and him to specify the train number and date of this incident to initiate action.
Pl specify train number & date of this. Will initiate action.

''This is happening in all the trains, You need not be train specific, Pick any train and ask the cleaning staff about how many bags of Garbage they have collected till now,'' the user posted in response.
The irresponsible and negligent attitude of the cleaning service staff on the train also angered internet users. Many shared similar videos, and asked for ''strict punishment'', while some others advised passengers to be more mindful.
One user wrote, ''While it's really disheartening to see this practice. But it is also important for travellers to be more responsible while disposing of the waste. Especially on long-haul trains. Railways should think of roping TTE to penalise the offenders. It worked when smoking was banned.''
Another commented, ''In addition to this what about passengers who are lazy enough to go & throw the wastes on the bins but keep it aside under the seat so that they get kicked by passengers & litter all around? I always carry a plastic bag & dump the wastes till safai karmacharis comes & pass it on.''

In G20 Group Photo At Rajghat, A Symbol Of India's Rise In World Order
The monsoon rains eased as Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed world leaders to the Raj Ghat memorial complex in central Delhi on Sunday, site of the eternal flame that burns for Mahatma Gandhi.
Gandhi led the nonviolent protests that brought India independence from British colonial rule in 1947. And PM Modi's decision to use the second and final day of his Group of 20 summit to remind his guests of the Father of Nation was another message signaling India's rise.
Symbolism is hard to escape in the so-called family photograph. It's a G-20 tradition that offers a rare, unvarnished glimpse of the interaction between leaders - the warmth or chill of greetings, the backslapping, side chats, scowls or moments of awkwardness - and so points to the state of world relations.
Absent from this year's lineup were China's President Xi Jinping and Russia's Vladimir Putin, both of whom skipped the summit amid tensions with the US and its allies. (Mexico's Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who rarely leaves the Americas, also stayed away.)
Indian media reported that the picture would not be a traditional family photo due to disagreement over the inclusion of Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who stood in for Putin.
US-China rivalry and Putin's war on Ukraine were never far away from the summit and infused the joint statement. But those global challenges took a momentary back seat as leaders ambled toward the black marble monument to Gandhi for their family portrait.
Barefoot walk
Some, like Germany's Olaf Scholz and Canada's Justin Trudeau, walked barefoot through the wet. President Joe Biden and Brazil's Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva - who assumes the G-20 chair from India - were among those wearing slippers or overshoes.
A moment's silence was held, then traditional Indian music struck up as the G-20 heads made their way out, past a backdrop of Gandhi's ashram that was a center of the Indian struggle for freedom.
Biden walked beside PM Modi as the UK's Rishi Sunak reached over to have a word. Japan's Fumio Kishida walked beside South Korea's Yoon Suk Yeol, the recent rapprochement between the two US allies on display. Lavrov, shunned by several leaders, talked with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who has been pressing for Russia to resume the Black Sea grain deal.
India's chairmanship of the G-20 was perhaps most notable for securing an unexpected consensus among leaders, in particular on the contentious language related to Russia's war, but also on global action to combat climate change and on admitting the African Union as a full member of the group.
Here are a few moments captured in recent G-20 summit group photos:
G20 Osaka 2019
Some leaders are new, others are on their way out, a few veterans have seen it all before. But events always dictate the proceedings. Japan held the last G-20 before the pandemic upended the world. The following year's summit, hosted by Saudi Arabia, was virtual.
When Argentina hosted the G-20 in 2018, these were happier days for the nation that's now suffering deep economic turmoil. Argentina - whose president, Alberto Fernandez, isn't running for re-election so is attending his last summit - has just been admitted to the BRICS grouping as it expands to 11 members from the core of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
G20 Hamburg 2017
Germany's G-20 summit in 2017 was notable for a moment when fellow leaders spontaneously stood up and applauded Angela Merkel, and for the anti-capitalist riots that shook the host city of Hamburg, almost costing the mayor - one Olaf Scholz - his job. Scholz, of course, went on to succeed Merkel as German chancellor.

Explained: Why India vs Pakistan Sep 10 Asia Cup Match Won't Be Abandoned
Giving a big sigh of relief to cricket fans, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced a reserve day for the Super Four stage match between India and Pakistan which is scheduled to take place on September 10 at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As per ACC, if adverse weather suspends play during the India and Pakistan game, the match will continue on September 11 from the point it was suspended. In such an eventuality, ticket-holders are advised to hold on to their match tickets which will remain valid and will be utilised for the reserve day. It also has to be noted that the India vs Pakistan contest is the only fixture to have a Reserve Day in the Super 4 stage. None of the other matches will have this option available for teams.
The change to the playing conditions for the Indo-Pak match on Sunday was announced by Pakistan Cricket Board, advising spectators to hold on to their tickets which will be valid in a case where the reserve day condition is triggered.
However, there will not be a reserve day for any of the other Super 4 matches in Sri Lanka.
It means that if the rain plays spoilsport during marquee clash on September 10, the match can be resumed from the point it was halted on the very next day.
"A reserve day has been incorporated for the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4's match between Pakistan and India scheduled to take place on 10th September 2023 at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo," the ACC said in a statement.
"If adverse weather suspends play during the Pakistan vs India game, the match will continue on 11th September 2023 from the point it was suspended," the statement added.
The Asia Cup final, to be played on September 17, already has been provided with a reserve day considering the heavy rains in the Lankan capital.
In such an eventuality, the ACC said spectators can hold on to their match tickets which will remain valid on the reserve day.

Woman Left With Half A Skull After Sinus Infection. Here's Her Story
A martial arts instructor in California had to have half her skull removed after an unchecked sinus infection spread to her brain. The shocking medical case happened in 2021, but her story is going viral again. Natasha Gunther, 26, who went through an extremely traumatic experience, has now come out the other side with a more positive mindset and a wonderful life with her family, Metro reported. She has also been documenting her story on TikTok to raise awareness about the seriousness of sinus infections.
It all started in 2021 when Ms. Gunther complained of cold-like symptoms and thought that it was just a mild infection. She suffered from five different sinus infections, which were consistently successfully treated with antibiotics. However, when she started vomiting and having severe migraines, she went to the hospital, where doctors told her she could be dead in a week without surgery, the New York Post reported.
A scan revealed a brain abscess, owing to which surgery was immediately required to relieve the pressure on the right side of her head by removing and replacing a small piece of skull. She needed seven operations in total, four brain surgeries and three sinus surgeries.
Ms Guinther faced various post-surgery challenges, including a seizure, deep vein thrombosis, and the need to learn how to walk and talk again through intense therapy.
As a result of the final brain surgery, she now has a hole on the left side of her ear and a scar across her entire head. She was also forced to wear a special helmet for five months to protect her head.
It took her over a year to overcome her terror of being around people, but she has defeated her fears with the support of her husband who is also a martial arts instructor.
She said, ''I wore a helmet and tried my best not to go outside. I went out of the house for doctor visits and maybe less than five times out to places like the mall. I'd wear my helmet and a hoodie so people couldn't see it. It's extremely scary. I was also very traumatised and afraid of people walking by and accidentally bumping into me. It took me about a year to get over the trauma and fear of being hit by someone by accident. I felt very insecure and it made me extremely depressed.''
After several months of recovery, she finally returned to teaching martial arts. The couple have also since welcomed a baby boy.
Though she still suffers from headaches, she has accepted this as the new normal and is ''happy to be alive.''
Through her TikTok stories, she warned others with recurrent sinus infections to seek medical help from an ENT specialist.
