प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने फेक न्यूज पर चिंता जताते हुए कहा है कि सोशल मीडिया का इस्तेमाल अच्छा है, मगर इसका उपयोग गंदगी फैलाने में न करें. किसी को बदनाम करने और झूठी बात फैलाने के लिए इसका इस्तेमाल करने वालों पर सख्ती होनी चाहिए. मोदी ने कहा कि कभी-कभी लोग मर्यादाओं को भूल जाते हैं और गलत मैसेज आगे कर देते हैं.
