On World Toilet Day, Deputy Director General Rural Water and Sanitation, Hiranya Borah was awarded the world toilet peace prize on the occasion of the world toilet Summit in Mumbai. He was awarded for the construction of toilets in Maharashtra and helping India achieve new heights in meeting its open defecation free targets.
