असम (Assam) में बीजेपी (BJP) का सहयोगी दल विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस (Congress) के नेतृत्व वाले गठबंधन में शामिल हो गया है. असम में अगले महीने होने वाले चुनावों से पहले बीजेपी के सहयोगी बोडोलैंड पीपुल्स फ्रंट या बीपीएफ (BPF) ने घोषणा की कि वह सत्तारूढ़ बीजेपी के नेतृत्व वाले गठबंधन को छोड़ रहा है और विपक्षी मोर्चे में शामिल हो रहा है. असम में कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व वाले गठबंधन को यह बड़ा फायदा मिला है और बीजेपी को इससे झटका लगा है.
