Union Home Minister Amit Shah today attended the 57th Raising Day Celebrations of Border Security Force (BSF) in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. He presented medals to Border Security Force personnel for indomitable courage, valour, gallantry and outstanding service. The BSF was formed on December 1, 1965 as a unified central agency to ensure the security of the borders of India. Presently, BSF is the largest border guarding force of the world.
