Opposition parties have started claiming credit over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement on "precaution doses" to health and frontline workers and those above 60 from January 10. While Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said the Centre has "accepted my suggestion", Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray said that it was one of the "important requests" made by him amid concerns over surge in Covid cases.
