Mamta Kharab, Former Captain of the Indian Women's Hockey Team said, "it is a great opportunity that India is getting to host the FIH Hockey World Cup. It is also great to see that all governments are supporting both men and women sportspersons all over. The organisation of the Hockey World Cup as we have seen is fantastic and our team is playing very well and I hope that they reach the finals."
