The CBI's investigation into the death of 33-year-old Twisha Sharma has entered a critical phase, with retired judge Giribala Singh and her son, Samarth Singh, being produced before a Bhopal court. Giribala was arrested after hours of questioning and days after the Madhya Pradesh High Court cancelled her anticipatory bail, citing serious concerns raised by the investigation. The agency is expected to seek further custody of both accused as it probes allegations of dowry harassment, evidence tampering and the circumstances surrounding Twisha's death just five months after her marriage. Investigators have already recreated the crime scene, conducted forensic examinations and are now focusing on reconstructing the events leading up to the death.
