As part of his two day visit to the Northeast, Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Manipur today where he will lay the foundation stones for several multipurpose projects. Heavy security has been deployed in and around state capital Imphal for his visit. Apart from a public rally, Mr Shah will hold discussions with the civil society groups of Manipur. Sources have told NDTV that Mr Shah will have a discussion on the Naga peace deal which is in its advance states.
