Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, during the cabinet meeting in Jerusalem on Sunday, announced the government approved his proposal to rename the October 7th war in Gaza to the 'War of Revival'.
"After two years of continuous fighting, we remember how it all began. We rose from the terrible disaster of October 7th. We rose with strength, on our feet, and delivered a fierce battle to our enemies," he stated.
Netanyahu recalled the 12-day war in June against Iran, which was dubbed 'With the Strength of a Lion.' He explained its name was meant to emphasise "the noble purpose rooted in our heritage: 'A people like a lion will rise.'"
